The two volunteers I met here today were awesome; knowledgeable and proud of what they have at this museum. The prison itself is the only structure that is in its original location. However, the other structures are historic, but have been relocated there for preservation. Check hours before you go as they close in mid December and font reopen until February. Also, combine stop here with a drive through Mineral Wells and Weatherford. Lots of history out there.
