My wife and I had a wonderful time celebrating our wedding anniversary during a three day stay at the beautiful Valley View Guest Ranch. The proprietor Mike and wife Petra, do a lovely job of making guest feel right at home and making sure they have a lovely experience. The food is gourmet and the view is spectacular.
A little bit of Heaven just West of Dallas/Fort Worth. Beautiful, picturesque scenery and gorgeous animals await you at this ranch-style getaway. The Swiss owners, Mike and Petra, are exceptionally friendly and they make it easy for you to relax, unwind, and have a great time. We enjoyed a long weekend and found ourselves loving the horses, pot-belly pigs and longhorns that were right outside our cabin. We enjoyed the gourmet breakfast and dinner they prepared and found ourselves wishing we weren't leaving so soon. We'll definitely be back...hopefully with friends and family next time. This place is perfect for small weddings, family reunions, girlfriend getaways, scrapbooking weekends, bachelor/bachelorette weekends, etc. During our stay, there were some visitors from Germany. It gave the ranch an even more international flair and we enjoyed that immensely. At some points, we forgot that we were just an hour and a half away from the metroplex. This place is a must-see.
